Coaching Supervision –

The purpose of coaching supervision is to facilitate the ongoing development of coaches by addressing the professional, personal, relational and contextual issues that can arise from coaching practice.

As the investment in coaching increases, so too does the need to ensure quality in the services being provided. Coaches – both internal and external – require ongoing professional development and support

Providing the highest standard of coaching
Delivering their work ethically, with accountability and with desired outcomes and
Embedding their coaching services to organisational values and practices.

Supervision conversations provide a time and safe space to reflect on one’s work and to gain constructive feedback. The purpose of that reflection is to share success, to develop ethical competence, to make greater sense of difficult and complex work situations and to gain more clarity going forward.

Who we are

We are a group of experienced coaches specialising in the provision of coaching supervision.

In our coaching supervision work, we provide professional development for coaches in order to:

Facilitate ongoing learning and development
Support the emotional safety and wellbeing of both coach and coachee
Strengthen ethical practice
Reduce the sense of isolation for sole practitioners
Improve and sustain the quality of their coaching practice

The Australasian Community for Coaching Supervision

ACCS was created by a small group of volunteers to:

Provide access for coaches and others interested in coaching supervision, to relevant local information and resources
Make it easy for coaches to find a coaching supervisor
Create a community for coaching supervision practitioners, to enable our own professional and personal development

Coaching supervisors listed on this website are not endorsed by ACCS, and we do not provide recommendations. We do, however, provide guidance for potential purchasers of coaching supervision services, about how to choose a supervisor.
